Exciting News for Joliet Area Musicians!
This summer, the Joliet Township High School District 204 and Legacy Fine Arts, Inc. NFP are teaming up to bring back the Joliet Young Musicians Mentor Band!
Who Can Join?
Any Joliet area band member in 6th to 12th grade! It’s totally FREE and a fantastic way to keep playing music all summer long.
Program Dates: June 3-6 & June 10-13, from 2 PM to 5 PM.
Final Concert: June 13th evening - Don’t miss out!
What’s in It for You?
Keep honing your musical skills, meet fellow musicians, and high schoolers can earn community service hours by leading activities.
We Need Your Help!

The Joliet Community Mariachi Ensemble is a vibrant non-profit initiative, dedicated to preserving the rich tradition of mariachi while empowering our local youth through music education and cultural immersion. By supporting our program, you're not only championing the arts but also fostering the growth and development of young talents in the Joliet area.

Legacy Fine Arts Inc. NFP commits to providing music, theatre, dance, visual arts, and other fine and performing art programs, lessons, and mentoring for youth ages 5-18. Programs are available for all students in the Joliet area, regardless of income level.

Programs
Music
Private and group lessons offered for all school band instruments. Lessons assist students with developing and maintaining fundamentals, technique and musicianship to play their instrument at the highest levels.
Music ensembles bring students together to perform in small and large group settings. Students will experience a high level of performance literature and concert opportunities.
Theatre
Theatre is a fun way to gain self-confidence, problem solve, learn cooperation/collaboration, social awareness, and much, much more. Many skills acquired in theatre can be applied to other aspects of life. Theatre is an inclusive environment that lets children (and adults) to express themselves in different ways among others.
Mentoring and Parent Programs
Mentoring
The life of a fine arts students can be fulfilling and busy. Legacy Fine Arts Inc. NFP commits to providing mentoring opportunities for students with specific interests and aspirations in the fine arts. Partnerships include educators, composers, recording technicians, and more.
Parents
So you have a child in the fine arts - now what? Special sessions will be offered to inform and help parents with supporting their fine arts students.
